Blaxton Parish Council receives s106 funding for the installation of a nature trail around Blaxton Playing Field

The Council are pleased to announce that they have received funding to install a circular nature trail around the playing field. This project began when the public were consulted in late 2023 about what development they would like to see on Blaxton Playing Field. This consultation highlighted the priorities of the public and the council are now combining 4 out of the top 6 projects to deliver a nature trail combined with activity trail, better pathway/accessibility from the front gate and removal of full-sized football nets in favour of something more usable (ball wall); therefore the council are now putting your wishes into action.

We are hopeful that works will begin on the path in the early spring, with further developments around the path being paid for with Lottery Community funding, following.
