FRIENDS OF BLAXTON PLAYING FIELD- are you interested?

The Parish Council wants to make Blaxton Playing Field more of a Community Hub.  A place that residents can enjoy.

To help us shape the future, we would like your help.  We are looking to set up an informal group of “Friends of Blaxton Playing Field”.  People who are willing to give up a little time each month to join others to do odd jobs around the field (maintenance, planting, pruning, watering, tidying-up, socialising) and to engage with the Parish Council on future developments and use of the field.  Nothing formal, just showing an interest and having an influence.

If you would like to be “A Friend of Blaxton Playing Field” just send your name and a contact number or email address to Emma Lear – Clerk@BlaxtonParishCouncil.gov.uk.

We will review the responses at our meeting at 7pm on Wednesday 21st October 2026.  You don’t need to attend, if we have a number of people interested, we will get back to you with a suggested outline plan.
