Blaxton Playing Field
The Playing Field is just off Bank End Road (B1396) and accessed via a Public Footpath (look out for the signs) about 30 yards after Hillscroft Road when approaching from the Blue Bell Roundabout.

A hard surface area with ball wall and basket ball hoops is available at the far end of the field (top image above). There are nine items of play equipment including a roundabout, swings, climbing frames and springies.
The field was donated c1990 by Tarmac after mineral extraction was completed and was dedicated in 1991 (image below)

Nature Trail
The council received s106 funding from Doncaster Council to create a nature trail around the field. Works were completed in March 2026, with a circular path being installed.
In May 2026, the council used the National Lottery Community Fund to install play equipment items around the nature trail.
