Blaxton Playing Field Nature Trail – NOW OPEN
The new nature trial at Blaxton playing field is now complete and open for use. The new trail is suitable for dog walkers, running (250 metres circular loop), biking for young children or of course just a gentle stroll, all away from the hustle and bustle of our main roads.

Over the course of 2026 and into 2027 we will continue to border the new trail with equipment, activities and greenery! Listed below are some of the plans we are considering but we would love to hear ideas from our residents. We hope you enjoy this revamped facility and look forward to seeing it in use!
· Ball wall to replace the old goalposts
· Sensory play equipment
· Raised planters for the public to use
· Bug hotels
· Toddler play equipment
· Additional trees, fruit bushes, plants and herbs
· Seating
