What’s happening?
Public engagement: 3 November – 15 December 2025
SYMCA is running a six-week engagement activity to:
- Understand public experiences of accessibility and safety on board buses.
- Gather feedback to shape bus fleet specifications and procurement.
- Raise awareness of bus franchising and its phased rollout.
- Meet suppliers as part of the procurement process.
A full engagement schedule for 2026–2029 is in development.
Bus fleet survey: 3 November – 15 December
We’re asking the public:
- What makes them feel safe on board?
- What features improve comfort?
- How people prefer to receive travel updates?
- Customer principles survey: 10 November – 23 November
- We’re testing draft principles to guide service standards under franchising.

We would like to invite you to attend Doncaster’s in-person public engagement events, further details below:
- Doncaster Interchange – Tuesday 18 November, 3:00pm – 6:00pm.
